MGM Grand Macau Hotel is not a modest resort development. A glass sculpture by Dale Chihuly that hangs from the lobby’s ceiling introduces visitors to the hotel’s affection for fine art. Behind the desk is another piece of Chihuly’s glass art. Throughout the hotel, architectural and artistic allusions to Macau’s Portugal-in-Asia culture are delicately executed in glass, wood, leather and ceramic design elements.
