Hong Kong has many facilities for Macau-bound travellers. The main sea terminal and heliport are located in Shun Tak Centre, on the waterfront West of Central District on Hong Kong Island. It is above Sheung Wan MTR (Mass Transit Railway) station  and next to a terminus for buses and minibuses from many parts of Hong Kong, including the A2 Airbus from the airport. The terminal has passenger wharves and helipad, booking offices for current and advance sailings and flights, reservation offices of Macau hotels and travel agents, a branch of China Travel Service, and a Macau Government Tourist Office Information Counter.

The following public transportation from Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok International Airport to Macau-Hong Kong Ferry Terminal is available:

Airport Express
First, take the Airport Express to the Hong Kong Station in Central.
Fare: HK$100 (Single Trip)
Frequency: Every 10 minutes
Journey Time: 23 minutes
Operating Hours: 5:50 AM - 00:48 AM
Then, take a taxi to the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal at Sheung Wan.

Journey Time: 10-15 minutes

Public Bus No. A11 (air-conditioned)
Passengers should get off at the third stop after departing the airport, press the bell when "Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal" is announced.

The China Ferry Terminal is located on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront alongside Harbour City, on the Kowloon side of the harbour. It is used for Catamaran sailings to and from Macau, and is convenient for visitors staying in Tsim Sha Tsui hotels. There are booking offices for current and advance sailings.

The Macau Ferry Terminal and heliport is situated in the Outer Harbour, close to the New Yaohan Department Store. It contains booking offices for sailings and flights to Hong Kong, travel agencies, restaurants and duty-free shops selling alcohol and cigarettes which are cheaper than in Hong Kong, as well as local cookies and other delicacies.

Passengers are advised to be at the terminal at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time, in order to complete immigration formalities.

To and from Hong Kong
There are a number of Jetfoils and Catamarans available between Macau and Hong Kong, run by TURBOJET, CotaiJet and First Ferry, which differ in speed, comfort and price. Drinks and snacks are available on board. The most rapid are the TurboJET and CotaiJet vessels. Journeys take approximately one hour one way.

TURBOJET operates almost 24 hours per day. Journeys between Macau and Hong Kong are hassle-free and convenient. The ticket price ranges from HK$142 in Economy class on weekdays for day service to HK$176 Economy class for night service. Tickets in Super class range from HK$240 to HK$275, and VIP cabins for 4 to 6 persons are also available at prices from HK$960 to HK$1,650. Trips are made between the Hong Kong Ferry Terminal (located in the Shun Tak Centre at Sheung Wan) and the Macau Ferry Terminal (located in the Outer Harbour). For senior citizens (60 years old or above) and children (under 12 years old), there is a HK$15 discount per ticket. Economy class passengers are allowed to carry on board, free of charge, one piece of luggage not exceeding 20 kg in weight and Super class passengers are permitted one piece of luggage not exceeding 30 kg. The new CotaiJet high-speed catamarans connect customers between Hong Kong and Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal in comfort. Operation hours are 07:00 to 17:00 at Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal every day. Shuttle buses are available from the Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal to The Venetian Macao-Resort-hotel when you disembark from a ferry. The new CotaiJet service offers a choice of 3: Cotai Class, Cotai First and two of Cotai VIP Cabin (8 seats per Cotai VIP Cabin). The ticket prices range from HK$134 to HK$146 for Cotai Class and from HK$236 to HK$252 for Cotai First. Cotai VIP Cabin for 8 persons is available from HK$1,888 to HK$2,016. For senior citizens (60 years old or above) and children (under 12 years old), there is a HK$15 discount per ticket. 

Catamarans from the First Ferry offer roundtrip sailings between Macau and Kowloon, arriving at the China(HK) Ferry Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui. Travel time is approximately 60 to 75 minutes. The ticket price ranges from HK$140 to HK$275. Economy class passengers are allowed to carry on board, free of charge, one piece of luggage not exceeding 20 kg in weight and Super class passengers are permitted one piece of luggage not exceeding 30 kg. Please note that the sum of length, width and height of the luggage may not exceed 158 cm (62 inches).

Standby
At the Shun Tak Centre, Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal and Macau Ferry Terminal, there are special lines for standby passengers who want to leave earlier than their ticketed sailings. Except for holidays and weekends, there is a good chance of getting a seat.

Cross Boundary Passenger Ferry Terminal
The "Cross Boundary Passenger Ferry Terminal" project provides deluxe passenger ferry service linking Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) and Pearl River Delta region. A new brand "TurboJET Sea Express" runs the new service routes between HKIA, Shenzhen and Macau SAR.

Passengers can transit into or out of the Pearl River Delta region via HKIA without the need to go through HK Customs and Immigration formalities and also without the hassle of carrying their luggage to the ferry terminal. To and from Shenzhen
The Yuet Tung Shipping Co. offers a ferry service departing from Macau (at the end of Av. Almeida Ribeiro, Rua das Lorchas, near the Master Hotel, Pier 14) at 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tickets cost MOP$120 for adults and MOP$70 for children. Passengers departing from She Kou (Shenzhen) can travel at 8:15 a.m., 11:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. The trip takes about one hour and twenty minutes. Please call +853 574 478 for details.

TurboJET's service also extends to carrying passengers to and from Shenzhen. The company offers trips between Macau and Shenzhen Fu Yong Ferry Terminal (9:45 a.m., 10:45 a.m.*, 12:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. departing from Macau; 10:30 a.m.*, 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. departing from Shenzhen). The journey is just over 1 hour. Regular fares vary from HK$171 to HK$271.
